Just two weeks after after being signed by the Trail Blazers, Carmelo Anthony has been named the Western Conference Player of the Week. He averaged 22.3 points per game along with 7.7 rebounds in three games.
The most important part is the fact that Portland went 3-0 during Melo’s hot week. Clearly the 35-year-old, who was out of the league for over a year, still has it.
