Astros shortstop Carlos Correa and his former Miss Texas fiancee Daniella Rodriguez tied the knot this weekend in Punta Cana. The two exchanged vows on the beach in the resort town in the Dominican Republic.
The two met back in 2016 when Daniella, then Miss Texas, threw out the first pitch at an Astros game at Minute Maid Park. The pitch wasn’t close, but she came away from the experience with her future husband.
Nothing brings people together like the game of baseball, especially if you’re an up and coming star shortstop.
