The Cardinals beat the Rockies on Thursday with a two run walk off single against the Rockies.  St. Louis’ Jose Martinez was the one who came through with the clutch hit, but he was not the one who received the celebratory Gatorade shower.

FOX Sports reporter Scott Warmann was the one who ended up with that honor.  And he took the entire shower to the head. 

Martinez saw it coming and took off, so instead of just pouring the drink all over the grass, they decided to aim it at Warmann.  Lucky guy.

The Cardinals either really like Warmann or he was critical of them at some point and they were paying him back.

Either way it was a big win for the Cardinals, who kept pace with the NL Central with the Pirates.  They are also four games back in the Wild Card race.
