It’s only March, but Cardinals hard throwing right-hander Jordan Hicks is already in mid-season form. He pitched a four strikeout inning, thanks to a wild pitch, on Tuesday against the Phillies and uncorked 10 fastballs of 100 mph or more.
Jordan Hicks just spun off a 4-strikeout inning (thanks to a K-WP). Also unfurled 11 fastballs clocked at 101, 103, 103, 102, 103, 102, 103, 99, 100, 102 and 103. #whoosh pic.twitter.com/HYf5NgUQaS

These aren’t your run of the mill heaters either. The flamethrower’s fastball has a ton of movement on them. Triple digits with run? That doesn’t seem fair, Hicks’ fastball is a real life cheat code.
It’s almost unhittable, especially in March. Look how easily he blows away hitters.
101, 103, 103.

I think it’s safe to say Hicks made the team this year. Those are some of the most impressive fastballs you’ll ever see. It’s like they have an extra gear.
