The Washington Capitals won Game 3 on Saturday night 3-1. The win was the first Stanley Cup victory on the franchise’s home ice.
The win also put the Caps in the driver’s seat with a 2-1 series lead. Caps fans took to the streets and celebrated the win appropriately, spending time chanting outside of Capital One Arena into the early morning.
The Stanley Cup is so close Caps fans can taste it. It might actually be the Caps year.
