Canadiens’ Victor Mete was sent to the locker room for a concussion evaluation after taking an unfortunate head-first dive into the boards. He got tangled up with Milan Lucic of the Oilers, who helped him along into the boards.
Mete returned to the game after being cleared of a head injury. The game ended up going into overtime where the Canadiens came away with a 4-3 win.
Someone needs to get Mete an old school football neck roll. You don’t want to take too many of those kinds of whack-a-mole head-first shots without some sort of protection.
