The Panthers will be without Cam Newton for multiple games. His “mid-foot sprain” is a little more severe than initially reported.
According to reports, Newton is actually dealing with a Lisfranc injury, not your run of the mill sprained foot.
It looks like the quarterback job will be Kyle Allen’s for the foreseeable future. If he plays like he did on Sunday in Arizona the Panthers might be able to salvage their season.
