Days after Cam Newton threw four interceptions in a loss to the Buccaneers, it was reported that he’s dealing with a sore shoulder. According to Ian Rapoport, he didn’t throw in Wednesday’s practice and is resting his shoulder.
It was clear on Sunday that Newton was dealing with some sort of arm trouble. He was removed from the game on the final play so that the backup could throw the Hail Mary attempt.

Despite four straight losses, the Panthers are still in the hunt for a spot in the playoffs and will need a healthy Cam Newton to get things back on track. If he’s unable to get his arm healthy enough for the final four games, then it could be a miserable ending to a season that started off with so much promise.
