Twins centerfielder Byron Buxton made a leaping catch at the wall to end the 4th inning on Sunday. He covers a ton of ground to make an awesome catch on the warning track before slamming into the wall.
The catch ended the inning and took an extra base hit off of the board. It’s not quite a pitcher’s best friend, but it has to be his number two or three friend.
This catch probably won’t be a catch of the year nominee, but it is good enough for a bottle of wine or something from the pitcher.
