Red Sox outfielder Xander Bogaerts hit a homerun off of Orioles pitcher Kevin Gausman. The bomb almost left the stadium and was all his manager needed to see to take him out.

Buck Showalter made his mound visit to remove Gausman during Bogaerts homerun trot. This is what happens when you’re 16.5 games out on May 18th.

If you give up a homer like that you shouldn’t wait for the manager to come out and remove you. It’s actually a more disrespectful move by Gausman to make Showalter walk all the way out to the mound to remove him.
Showalter is practically begging to be fired. At this point, it’s only a matter of time.
