Jameis Winston took too much of the blame last season for the Buccaneers shortcomings. According to Bucs receiver Chris Godwin anyway.
Godwin did an interview on “The Boardroom” with Rosalyn Gold-Onwude and one of Winston’s top targets last season defended the free agent quarterback. He said of Winston’s struggles and the Bucs disappointing season last year that “he got more of the blame than he deserved.”
That’s an interesting take to say the least. Winston put up big numbers through the air, but he was also a turnover machine.
