Bryce Harper returned to Washington for the first time since leaving for the Phillies in the off-season. Nationals fans greeted him with boos, both during a video tribute that was played for him, and prior to his first at bat.

There was no chance Harper was going to receive a warm welcome in Washington. No respectable fan base would ever do that if one of their star players left for a divisional rival.
