The Washington Nationals are six games back in the NL East and four and a half in the wild card. Their latest loss came at the hands of the Miami Marlins, who won on a J.T. Realmuto walk off single.
Following the loss, Bryce Harper took a shot at the Nats front office, who has been in trade talks with the Marlins for Realmuto.
Harper is the subject of trade rumors himself, as the Nationals continue to decide whether or not they’re buyers or sellers.
Multiple sources have told me that the #Dodgers have checked in on availability of Bryce Harper. #Nats are still undecided on if they want to sell, but if they do, LA is a likely destination.

In order for the Nationals to make the playoffs they’re going to have to go on a run and soon. If they’re past is any indication of what the future holds, that isn’t going to happen. They should cut their losses and get something for Harper before he leaves for nothing.
