Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo tried Bryce Harper on Monday night with the bases loaded.  The Phillies rightfielder showed off his cannon to complete the inning ending double play.

Harper doesn’t hustle as much as he did used to, he doesn’t hit for average and he’s overall not worthy of his ridiculous contract, but he still has a cannon for an arm.

Rizzo should have known that you can’t run on Bryce.  It proved to be an important run that was wiped off the board by the Philles.  Not to mention it ended a potentially big inning for the Cubs. 

The Phillies won the game 5-4 in 10 innings.
