The Bryce Harper signing has in large part been a disappointment for the underachieving Phillies this season. On Thursday night, in the their throwback uniforms, he delivered.
Harper beat the Cubs in the bottom of the 9th inning by hitting a monster walk-off grand slam into the second deck in rightfield.
The place went nuts and for a moment the fans will think they won the World Series. Until they look at the standings and realize they aren’t even a postseason team.
