Monday night’s Phillies and Mets game featured an ejection of Bryce Harper. In the 4th inning, Philly’s star was ejected for arguing balls and strikes from the dugout.
Harper wasn’t happy with a strike three call on him earlier in the inning and decided it was worth hitting the showers early.
The real fun started after Harper was tossed. He ran on the field, shoved his manager and had a few words for the umpire before being restrained by his team.
There were some on-field fireworks at Citi Field as both Gabe Kapler and Bryce Harper argue with home plate umpire Mark Carlson.

The Mets increased their lead following Harper’s ejection and won the game 5-1. The best part is that the pitches Harper was upset about were strikes.
