Reports surfaced on Wednesday that the San Francisco Giants flew out to Las Vegas to meet with free agent Bryce Harper on Tuesday.
This was the team’s second meeting this month with Harper and talks are progressing. According to NBC Sports’ Alex Pavlovic, the two sides have discussed a 10-year deal.
This is a change for the Giants, who were previously said to have been seeking a short-term deal with Harper.
San Francisco has jumped right into the mix and are now one of the three teams the top free agent is trying to chose from.

It looks like the Giants are prepared to push the chips in on Harper. That could make for an interesting end to the Bryce Harper sweepstakes.
