Bruins center David Krejci ate a shoulder on Thursday night from Islanders defenseman Thomas Hickey. The hit knocked out Krejci’s tooth.
After losing the tooth, Islanders defenseman Johnny Boychuk took it upon himself to find the tooth and hand deliver it to Krejci on Boston’s bench.
Nobody loves missing teeth more than hockey players. Boston won the game 2-1 on a shootout. A lost tooth and a shootout, sounds like a full night of hockey.
