It was reported early in the day on Thursday that the Browns have a “strong interest” in Urban Meyer as their next head coach.
Team owner Jimmy Haslam seemed to refute those reports when asked about the former Ohio State coach.

According to Haslam, the Browns are focusing their search on coaches with NFL experience. That would, of course, exclude Meyer.
