Denver’s Phillip Lindsay was ejected from Sunday’s Broncos-Ravens game in the second quarter for throwing a punch.  The referees said the Broncos running back threw a punch from the bottom of the pile.

What happened to what happens at the bottom of the pile, stays at the bottom of the pile?

Hopefully the NFL recognizes that the punch happened at the bottom of the pile, and adhere to the “what happens at the bottom of the pile” rule when they determine if it was worthy of a fine.
