Former ESPN reporter Brett McMurphy was back on ESPN Wednesday night. He did an interview for SportsCenter with Scott Van Pelt discussing his report on Urban Meyer.
McMurphy walked through the entire timeline of his reporting on Meyer and what he knew about his assistant coach Zach Smith’s domestic violence allegations.
McMurphy added that he believes this controversy will end Meyer’s career at Ohio State.

Fingers crossed on this. This is without a doubt a fireable offense, but we all know that doesn’t always end in the head coach of a major college football program being fired.
Meyer is not without fault in this case and should have canned the assistant coach back in 2009 when the first allegations came to light.
