The Braves have reportedly re-engaged in trade talks with the Cubs for third baseman Kris Bryant. They’re still in the market for a third baseman after missing out on Josh Donaldson, who decided not to return to Atlanta in free agency.
Bryant signed a 1-year deal with the Cubs to avoid arbitration, with the expectation that Chicago would trade him if they can find a willing partner.
