Braves centerfielder, Ender Inciarte, robbed Phillies rookie Scott Kingery of a homerun. It took all of Inciarte’s jumping ability for him to get up and take this homer off the board.
You need to hit a ball a little bit farther to get it over Inciarte’s head. Kingery might want to get a couple more reps in next time he hits the gym.
The first inning catch got Atlanta off on the right foot and they won the game 7-3. Nothing gets a pitcher pumped up like having a homerun brought back.
It’s still early in the season, but this catch will be one of the best catches of the year. Expect to see plenty of homers taken off of the scoreboard.
