Angels manager Brad Ausmus spoke to the media on Tuesday, just one day after the passing of pitcher Tyler Skaggs. He was expectedly emotional and broke down in tears when talking about how the team honored him.
Ausmus said the team decided to play on Tuesday night, adding that he didn’t think players would be well served by sitting in a hotel another day.

The sooner the Angels can return to their regular routine, the sooner they can cope with the loss. Thursday, Skaggs’ scheduled start day, will be another tough day.
