Boxing champion Errol Spence Jr. was drunk when he crashed his Ferrari in Texas last week, leaving him seriously injured, police said Wednesday.
Dallas Police charged the undefeated welterweight fighter with a DWI for the crash early Oct. 10, when he drove his sports car over a Dallas median and flipped it multiple times.

Spence wasn’t wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle, police said.
