He tweeted: ‘I’m not racist and I never will be a racist. I’m chasing greatness.’

After that initial post, Haney then revealed details of a conversation with WBC president Mauricio Sulamain, who called him to discuss the controversy. 

He added: ‘I just had a very positive conversation with Mauricio Sulaiman, president of the WBC, and confirmed to him directly my commitment to be a role model and my absolute rejection of discrimination of any kind.’

Haney currently holds a record of 24-0 with 15 KOs.

Should be interesting to see if he ever fights a white boy.
