Blue Jays rookie centerfielder Jonathan Davis made an unreal catch in Tampa Bay on Wednesday night to take away an extra base hit.  He just showed everyone why they were able to trade away Kevin Pillar.

Catches like these will buy Davis some time to figure out how to hit at the Major League level.  He covers a ton of ground and perfectly timed his dive to pull in the highlight reel catch.

Unfortunately, the Blue Jays couldn’t hold onto the lead and ended up losing the game in extra innings.  But on the bright side all of this young talent in Toronto will eventually put it together. 

It will probably be for another team, but fans will always be able to say they once played for the Blue Jays.
