The Rays traded Tommy Pham to the Padres on Thursday night and Tampa Bay ace Blake Snell wasn’t a fan of the move.
Snell was on a livestream when he learned about the trade. His initial reaction wasn’t one of joy. It was more of a mixture of disappointment and confusion.
The Rays received Hunter Renfroe and Xavier Edwards, or as Snell referred to him a “slapd*ck prospect,” from the Padres in exchange for Pham.
