Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles bought meals for first responders in Jacksonville after this weekend’s Madden tournament shooting. His foundation, the Blake Bortles Foundation, delivered free meals and a handwritten note of appreciation on Monday after their tough weekend.
Bortles has plenty of haters for his inconsistent play during his career, but even they can respect this move by the Jags QB. The move comes after Jaguars owner Shad Khan expressed his shock and sadness over the shooting.
It’s the bravery and courage that’s unanimously displayed for our community that we value the most! Thank you again to everyone who’s done and continuous to do their part for #Jacksonville! #JaxStrong https://t.co/R9yW9Z8Gcf
