The son of a coach, like his dad before him, it wasn’t a shock that Steve Belichick decided to get into the profession.
A rising voice on the Patriots sideline, he acknowledged that his father had a lot to do with his career choice.
“My dad is my role model,” Steve Belichick said. “He’s my idol. I’ve always looked up to him. I’m sure that influenced me getting to where I’ve come. But I’m my own person and I’m just trying to be me.”
The younger Belichick also offered a funny visual from his past.
