Josh McDaniels finally interviewed for a head coaching job on Friday. The Patriots offensive coordinator met with the Browns in Cleveland.
Both the Panthers and Giants were said to be interested in interviewing McDaniels for their head coaching vacancies.
According to reports, it was Belichick’s refusal to allow him to move up his interviews with those teams that cost him a shot at those jobs.
