Today the Pittsburgh Steelers future Hall of Fame quarterback addressed Antonio Brown’s criticism during an interview with KDKA’s Bob Pompeani.
Now the first comments from his interview have arrived:
Ben Roethlisberger’s first comments to @KDPomp and @KDKA on Antonio Brown: “I took some heat and deservedly so for some of the comments on that show and especially towards him. I genuinely feel bad about that and I’m sorry. Did I got to far after that Denver game? Probably…”

Roethlisberger continued on AB: “That’s the thing about media and social media, As soon as you say ‘sorry’ it only goes so far. You can’t take it back. And I wish I could because if that’s what ruined our friendship and relationship, I’m truly, genuinely sorry about that.”

Roethisberger criticized Brown’s route-running and said he should have thrown to JuJu Smith-Schuster, which earned a response from Brown that included his belief that Roethlisberger “feels like he’s the owner” because he wouldn’t take blame for throwing the pass.
If Big Ben thinks he’s sorry now, just wait til he realizes how sorry he’ll be without AB on the field.
Roethlisberger’s interview will air at 6 p.m. Eastern time on Monday.
While he’s at it, maybe Ben will apologize for that incident in a bar bathroom too.
