Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict suffered the seventh known concussion of his career during Sunday’s loss to the Browns. To make matters worse for the 28-year-old, it’s his second concussion in the last month.
Burfict was placed in the concussion protocol late in the first half of Sunday’s game, his first game back after he suffered a concussion on December 2nd against the Broncos.
Reports are that Burfict’s latest concussion could put his career in jeopardy. One of the NFL’s dirtiest players hasn’t played a full season since 2013 due to suspensions and injuries, including several concussions.

That’s a lot of known concussions. You have to figure there were a few that aren’t known as well. Once the concussion button has been pushed all the way down it’s pretty much over.
