Andy Dalton signed with the Cowboys on a one-year deal shortly after the Bengals released him. Prior to releasing him, Cincinnati attempted to trade him to the Jaguars and the Patriots.
Neither team was showed much interest in the veteran quarterback. In fact, both teams have plans to go with a second-year quarterback.
Gardner Minshew, who filled in for Nick Foles last year, will be the starter in Jacksonville. All indications are that Jarrett Stidham will be Patriots starter next season.
