Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger isn’t a fan of NFL insider Ian Rapoport. Even prior to his report that Big Ben cracked his ribs in a loss to the Raiders.
Ben’s problem with Rapoport seems to stem from 2013 when he reported that Roethlisberger was going to ask the Steelers for a trade.
Roethlisberger made it clear he isn’t a fan of the NFL insider. During his visit on The Cook and Joe Show, Ben shutdown a question about Rapoport’s claim he cracked his ribs against the Raiders.
“You shouldn’t even say his name on this show because nothing of what he says there is any truth to. I have no idea where that came from. My wife texted me before the game like, ‘Did you hear about this?’ I’m in the locker room like, ‘This is unbelievable.’ I don’t know where that guy gets his information from so we’re not even going to give him credence on this show if that’s OK with you.”
Roethlisberger doesn’t even want Rapoport’s name mentioned. There must be something a little more than a report about requesting a trade that went down.
We’ll have to get our guy Adam Schefter to get to the bottom of this or maybe Jay Glazer.
