Bears receiver Allen Robinson added to the Kareem Hunt to Chicago rumors. He called the free agent running back a “good dude” and said the Bears locker room would welcome him with open arms.
Hunt will be suspended at some point by the NFL, but is expected to have plenty of interest from teams prior to next season.
Hunt has reportedly been receiving treatment since being released by the Chiefs for shoving and kicking a woman at a hotel.
Via Chicago Sun Times:
‘‘From when I met [him] and everything like that, for us to bring him into our locker room, I think guys would welcome him with open arms,’’ Robinson said. ‘‘He’d be one of us. . . .
‘‘A guy they’d bring into our locker room would be our brother.’’
If Joe Mixon is in the NFL then Kareem Hunt deserves a second chance. And he will definitely get one whether it’s in Chicago or elsewhere, expect Hunt to be on a team next season.
