Bears guard Kyle Long announced he was retiring on Twitter on Sunday night. He has been dealing with injuries for the past few seasons.
Long only played in four games this season after suffering a hip injury. He stated he was stepping away to get his body right.

The 31-year-old was facing the possibility of having to play for a different team next season after playing his entire career with Chicago. He had a team option for 2020.
