The Bartenders Pub in Baltimore is offering free Dr. Pepper shooters for every hit struggling first baseman Chris Davis gets. The overpaid Davis is hitting just .150 on the season with 4 homeruns and 15 RBIs.

“Baseball season for us is big business,” Dana Coker said. “With the team not doing so well, it’s affected our business. We just can’t seem to do any specials that encourage people to come to the bar and watch baseball with us.”
“We’re just trying to give people a reason to come out and watch the games again,” said Danny Coker, who grew up in Highlandtown.
Don’t expect a ton of free drinks in Baltimore, because Davis is in the middle of a terrible season. In fact there would be drinks flying off the shelves if they gave away drinks every time he struckout.
That’s probably not a great business model. He needs to figure things out quickly or he’ll find himself getting DFA’d.
