Baker Mayfield is being overlooked as the NFL Draft approaches by the so-called experts. The Heisman Trophy winner clearly has his ear to the pavement and has fired back at the draft haters on Instagram:
Go ahead and knock on the measurable traits that everybody can see. But you can’t size up this fearless and relentless mentality. And I’ll take that matchup any day. #MMO
The fear is that whoever drafts him will end up in a similar situation that the Browns found themselves in when they drafted Johnny Manziel. Mayfield can talk the talk all he wants. But he’ll have doubters until he walks the walk in the NFL.
