In a GQ feature published Tuesday, Mayfield commented on the Giants’ decision to draft former Duke quarterback with the sixth overall pick in April.
Baker Mayfield has never played a regular season game against the Giants, but it feels like a rivalry is brewing between Big Blue and the Cleveland Browns quarterback.
It’s the second time in recent weeks that Mayfield has taken a shot at the Giants. In an article published last month in ESPN The Magazine, Mayfield said of former Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. joining him in Cleveland: “He’s here to play in front of fans who actually care, who will actually show up to every game and pack the stadium and love him for who he is.”
