The Cleveland Browns number one pick Baker Mayfield was asked what he plans to do with his first paycheck. He gave probably the worst answer of all-time with an extremely plain answer.
Quarterback Baker Mayfield, who was picked first, said: “I haven’t thought about it. Savings? Yeah, savings is a good call.”
Unfortunately he won’t be jetting off to Vegas and going on a bender. That would have been a great answer.
That first paycheck from a first overall NFL draft pick is probably going to be enough to buy something insane and put some in savings.
