Colin Cowherd responded to a now deleted tweet with criticism of Baker Mayfield being the first pick in the NFL draft. He said of the Browns QB that he doesn’t have the size or athleticism to be a number one pick in any sport.
Mayfield saw the Cowherd tweet and fired back at him by reminding him that it already happened.
It looks like Cowherd has lost his hot take fastball. You can’t say a guy isn’t a number one pick after he’s been drafted with the number one pick. It’s a bad look for the hot take game.
