Baker Mayfield spoke to the media at Saturday’s Texas and Oklahoma game. A game that Texas won.
Don’t expect any congratulations from Oklahoma’s former QB. Mayfield made it clear that nobody would keep him from talking trash about the Longhorns, not even the NFL.
“I was born and raised in Austin, they didn’t recruit me. I grew up 15 miles from the campus. I can’t stand them, or anything they do. I don’t care. I talked to the NFL guys that say I need to calm down a little bit. But when it comes to Texas, absolutely not. I can’t stand them.”
Don’t expect Mayfield to tone anything down. He’ll be bringing all of his antics with him to the NFL.
I get the feeling @baker_mayfield6 has been waiting for the last 3 years to say this publicly. pic.twitter.com/ubGOZeZOlS
