Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl was not all smiles after upsetting number one seed UNC on Friday night.  He was just the opposite.  Pearl was visibly upset and got a little emotional after the win when he was asked about his star player Chuma Okeke, who went down in the second half with an apparent knee injury.

“Chuma was the best player on the floor.  He’s hurt.  He’s hurt.  We’re gonna rally.  I’ll go hug on him.”

Before going down with a knee injury, Chuma was playing out of his mind.  He recorded a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds on 73 percent shooting from the floor.  If he’s hurt, hurt then the Tigers are certainly going to miss him as they continue on in the NCAA Tournament.

As for Bruce Pearl, get a grip buddy.  It’s basketball, injuries happen.  Nobody died.
