Auburn gymnast Samantha Cerio, is recovering from surgery to repair multiple ligaments in both of her knees. The 22-year-old Senior suffered devastating injuries to both of her knees over the weekend during a floor routine gone horrible wrong.
Cerio retired from gymnastics short after the injury and now, according to her coach Jeff Graba, she has her sights set on walking down the aisle.

The college gymnast who suffered a catastrophic injury to both legs during a competition last week is getting married in two months and has a new goal now that her athletic career is over, her coach said.
“She wants to walk down the aisle and get married, and we’re hoping she can do that,” Samantha Cerio’s coach, Jeff Graba, told NBC News.
Hopefully Cerio makes a full recovery by the time she’s ready to get married and is able to walk down the aisle. It’s one thing to get injured and have your athletic career impacted, it’s another thing to have your life outside of your sport suffer too.
