The Oakland A’s are a game over .500 on the season thanks to a game ending catch by shortstop Chad Pinder. He snagged a ball with his barehand after attempting to make an over the shoulder catch in the outfield with his glove.
If nothing else it was an entertaining end to the game for the handful of fans that stayed for the last out of a Thursday afternoon A’s game. Too bad making difficult catches look even more difficult doesn’t count as multiple wins.
