The A’s automatically punched a ticket to the postseason just minutes after first pitch in Seattle, after the Rays lost on Monday.
Then they went bonkers and hit four homers to beat the Mariners, 7-3, and put an exclamation point on an extraordinary day, capping it with a champagne-soaked celebration.

This is pretty cool to see! Former TH North star Josh Phegley celebrating with his teammates last night the Oakland A's playoff berth. Its the first of his six-year pro career.

This team was supposed to lose 85+. To be a playoff team of any kind is remarkable. Somehow the A’s always remain relevant.
