The Yankees completed the three game sweep of the Twins on Monday night thanks in part to closer Aroldis Chapman shutting the door by recording the final five outs.
After the game Chapman’s left hand was heavily wrapped. According to reports, the left-hander was hit in the hand by a bottle that was thrown during the postgame celebration in the locker room.
Chapman and the Yankees downplayed the injury saying his hand was fine.
