Where Cam Newton will sign after being released by the Panthers is an unknown at this point. There are only a couple of teams that could be looking for a starting quarterback.
Newton has been openly recruited by players on a couple of teams and he recently turned some heads by working out with Chargers quarterback Tyrod Taylor. Arizona State head coach Herm Edwards is telling teams that he’s “heard” where Cam is signing.
According to Edwards, who talked about Cam Newton’s signing during an Arizona State football press conference, the former Panthers quarterback is signing with the Los Angeles Chargers.
