The Antonio Brown and Steelers drama has reached the point that the team doesn’t expect the receiver back next season. They won’t cut him, but trades will be explored.
According to NFL Network’s Aditi Kinkhabwala, Brown doesn’t want this. He doesn’t want to be traded and he wants to stay in Pittsburgh.
Kinkhabwala shared this news on Peter King’s podcast (around the 20 minute mark):
Of course Brown wants to stay. If he’s traded, it will be to a team in the lower half of the league. The Steelers have a ton of talent, even though they managed to miss the playoffs.
